What A Great Track

Just got back from a long weekend spent mostly at Mid-Ohio for the ALMS & IRL races (among others). I'd never been there before. Altho the track itself is only 2 1/4 miles
long, Mid-Ohio is a gorgeous facility, with lots of curves & terrain changes, and almost entirely visible from good viewpoints. There are even enuf trees scattered about the place to provide decent shade within sight of the track! Weather was perfect: sunny, in the low seventies to the low eighties on each of the three days.

Since all the racing was televised, there's probably no need for me to comment on any of the action.

If you haven't yet seen an event at Mid-Ohio, I urge that you take your
next opportunity to enjoy the place.
